Danielle Weaver-Fowler, 29, died on Sunday, Sept. 29, according to an obituary from Lee Funeral Home. She was the mother of an eight-year-old daughter and a four-year-old son.
Weaver-Fowler was remembered for how much she cared for her family.
"Truly, to know Danielle was to love her," her obituary read. "Her sparkling green eyes were captivating, her beautiful smile made you feel like you’ve known her forever, and her gentle, genuine, and giving soul made you fall in love. As gentle as she was, she was also determined, brave, and unbelievably headstrong."
Weaver-Fowler previously posted on Instagram that she was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer on Wednesday, July 26, 2023. She and her husband Christopher Fowler decided to push up their wedding and the couple got married a week later on Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2023.
Her diagnosis came a few months after the basement wall at the couple's home collapsed in May 2023.
"I thought life couldn’t possibly get worse than that, but then I was quickly proved very wrong," Weaver-Fowler posted. "It felt like my world stopped and was crumbling around me. But my kids didn’t stop, and I need to keep going for them, and I will keep going for them."
Weaver-Fowler was also remembered for her love of animals, especially her two dogs and highland cows, which were at her wedding venue Mt. Pleasant Farms in Columbus.
"In everything she did and all things she enjoyed, nothing compared to her love of just being a mom; she was an exceptionally devoted mama bear," her obituary said.
A visitation for Weaver-Fowler will be held at the funeral home on High Street from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 17.
Weaver-Fowler's funeral service will follow the visitation at 8 p.m.
